Accra Hearts of Oak will go in search of a second straight win in the ongoing Ghana Premier League, (GPL) when the Matchday 16 matches begins on Wednesday.

The Phobians will be away to Liberty Professionals at Dansoman in a capital derby they will be favoured to win.

Hearts returned to winning ways for the first time in five games after beating Ebusua Dwarfs 3-2 in Accra last Sunday to ease some of the pressure they were facing mainly caused by their own doing.

A win for the Phobians could take them to third on the table if other results go their way and, they will be up for it as they face a Liberty Professionals side that is struggling at the bottom half of the table.

Leaders Karela United will have their credentials tested when they trek to Sogakope to face the might of WAFA at the Red Bull Arena.

WAFA, are a hard nut to crack at home, and, they will be out to protect their unbeaten run at Sogakope.

Medeama SC will be the odds on favourites to collect the three points when they host relegation threatened Techiman XI Wonders at the Akoon Park, Tarkwa.

Ebusua Dwarfs will seek to bring their campaign back on track after their defeat to Hearts of Oak last Sunday when they welcome King Faisal Babes to the Cape Coast Stadium.

The GPL Matchday 16 matches will continue on Thursday when Asante Kotoko hosts Bechem United at the Accra Sports Stadium with Dreams FC playing AshantiGold SC at the Dawu Park on the Akwapem mountains.

One game will be played on Friday when Great Olympics welcomes Berekum Chelsea to the capital.
