The Ghana Premier League is gradually drawing to a close with four games to spare.
Asante Kotoko, who have a game in hand, lead the table on 56 points with Medeama in second on 50. One of the entrants, Bibiani Gold Stars sit 11th with 41 points and would look to avoid the drop. Head coach of the side, Michael Osei tells Gold SportTalk about what they need to do to retain their top flight status.
“We need character to play the away matches and definitely we will beef the squad once again. “Because right now I can see I have the core of the team because beginning of the season, I didn’t have the core team. “They has already qualified for the Premier League and you cannot use the players in Division so we needed to beef the squad. “But we couldn’t get enough top ones and the experienced ones.
“But I think later in the season, we got some of them, the likes of Opoku Agyemang, Stephen Owusu, Noah Amartey and then Farouk Adams and so on. “When they came things changed but still we were not getting the away results very well but I think that is an experience we have to gather. “So we are working so hard that we will get the away results better to add up to the away results.” Michael Osei told Radio Gold TalkSports.
