Hearts of Oak have unveiled their new jersey ahead of the 2021/2022 season. This comes after the club announced plans for the new season as well as commission their new ultra modern office complex.
Speaking at the event, the chairman of the club announced that Hearts of Oak are securing a partnership with one European club and an American club and this should be closed in the next month.
The club also took advantage to announce the renewal of their contract with south African jersey sponsors Umbro. The renewal will be a 2 year contract and will see Umbro design and produce kits for the Champions of the Ghana premier league of the last season.
Amidst of all the hype and promotion leading to the release of the new jersey, fans expected that the new jersey will be solid to rock and give them the bragging rights over their rivals, Kotoko. However, this has not been the case as the jersey does not live up to the standard.
For the home jersey, the colors are somehow all over the place and does not even match last season’s kit. The away jersey though, is a thing of beauty and fans must be really excited about it rather than the home jersey.
See both kits for your self and be the judge. Do you think the jersey is nice? Kindly comment.
