Togbe Afede XIV is one of the board member for Hearts of Oak but he double up as the majority shareholder as well. The Chairman for the board has been disciplined with his team for a long time now with a lot of expectations.
He took over the club with a lot of believe that the club is going to be the best in the immediate days but didn’t notice the shortcomings. It’s been a decade and more for the Phobians to get their hands to a major trophy.
The supporters has lambasted the board and called them so many names which doesn’t account to their effort. The changes done by the board Chairman has been swift and decisive enough to see them get back to their good old days.
Togbe Afede XIV did some signings to change the team by bringing in Coach Samuel Boadu and Ibrahim Di Maria Salifu from Eleven Wonders to change the face of the club. After he brought these signings, he has motivated the club enough with all the resources and the projects in the pipeline.
Moreover, the monetary and salaries of the players are payed duly on time with bonuses. After they won the league this season Togbe invited the players to his house for a get together and dine with his family.
After that, he promised the players to wait for more surprises which include some amount of money and other motivation. Some days ago, the players got their money in their account worth $5000 each.
There was another dinner with the Board and the team which saw Hearts player smiling to the bank after their salaries and other arrears was also added.
