Ghanaian defender Daniel Amartey discusses the danger posed by Son Heung-min.

In advance of their matchup on Monday, Ghanaian defender Daniel Amartey insists that the Black Stars will require a strategy to counter the threat posed by South Korea captain Son Heung-min.

The Black Stars enter the game knowing that a loss will force them to leave for Accra before their last match.

However, the Leicester City defender thinks containing the threat posed by Tottenham's Son is one approach to at least draw the game against the Asian powerhouses.

Partey and Son have a long history of competition in the English Premier League, and in the second game of Group H, the two will square off once more.

Amartey stated at the pre-game press conference, "I know Son since we play in the premier league, and we have a method to stop him.

Ghana must defeat South Korea in order to increase their chances of making it out of Group H.

On Friday, December 2, 2022, the Black Stars will play Uruguay in their final group match. In this match, the four-time African champions will seek retribution for their heartbreaking 2022 FIFA World Cup loss to the South Americans.

Ghana has only ever failed to go past the group stage once, in Brazil in 2014 for the World Cup. In 2006, the team advanced to the round of 16, and then four years later, in South Africa, they reached the quarterfinals.
