Ex- Ghana FA boss wants Bernhard Lippert SACKED

The former chairman of the Ghana Football Association, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe, said that if he was still in the office, he would fire Bernhard Lippert, the technical director.

The German coach was under pressure after Charles Kwabla Akonnor and his deputy were fired on Monday.

Lippert is the former technical director of Azerbaijan. He has not had any influence on Ghanaian football since he was appointed to replace Oti Akenteng in October 2020.

The German recommended two Bundesliga II players Daniel Kofi Carly and Braden Manu to the Black Star in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Ethiopia and South Africa.

One of the two invited players, Braden Manu, revealed to the media that he did not deserve an appeal. This is a major prosecution against Bernhard Lippert's recommended players.

Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe also added his voice to those who demanded his head, suggesting that he was part of the failure of CK Akonnor.

"I will fire him [Lippert] immediately, because it is his suggestion that puts CK [Akonnor] in his position, unless CK ignores some of his suggestions. But if CK listens carefully to him, then some of the skills he gets The suggestion is utter nonsense and led us to such a situation. If CK is gone, he should follow him," he said in an interview with Metro-TV.
