The Red Devils, Manchester United have played their first game in the 2021/2022 English Premier League season against Leeds United today at Old Trafford at exactly 11:30 am, in front of fans in a rampant and delightful 5 goals to 1 win.
In the game, the opening goal was scored by Bruno Fernandes in the 30th minutes after a sublime chipping pass over the top of the Leeds defenders by Paul Pogba. Leeds United equalized as early as 3 minutes into the second half with an outside box shot by Ayling. Mason Greenwood restored Manchester United’s lead in the 52nd minutes with a Pogba Assist, followed by Bruno again and again with Pogba and Linderlof assist respectively making it 4:1 in 60 minutes.
The scoring streak continued with Fred scoring in the 69th minutes, an assist by Paul Pogba again. A substitution saw the introduction of Jadon Sancho in the 75th minutes to play for the first time Manchester United since his signing. The final score remained 5:1. Pogba managed a quadruple of assist, Bruno with a hatrick and Greenwood with a stunner.
