Players Are Getting Tired And We Need to Beef up The Squad - Nurudeen

Head coach of King Faisal, Amadu Nurudeen has admitted that fatigue has set into his squad and he needs to beef up with more limbs.

The “Insha Allah” boys suffered their second successive defeat in two weeks and four in all this season after an impressive start to the campaign. Their penultimate loss was against Eleven Wonders in a 2-0 score line before falling by the same margin to Karela United in week 13 at the Baba Yara Stadium. Nurudeen Amadu believes his charges are getting tired and he needs to strengthen his squad to ease the pressure.

“We were not tactically good enough, I think that we have lost some power, be that fatigue is setting in, we need to look at all those factors. “But I think that Karela were better. They stopped us from playing our normal game and they were having more men behind the ball, they utilized their chances. “We created many chances but we squandered them and so it’s a very worrying worrying issue but that is football and we have to move on. “These two defeats, it has created some grief in our midst but we will go back and then resolve it and then get going,” Ahmed Nurudeen told StarTimes.

“I think that fatigue is setting on our boys and I think we need to beef up the team since we have the open [transfer] window. “So we need to bring some players to beef up the team. I can see that there is fatigue.” Ahmed Nurudeen added. The loss to Karela United sinks King Faisal into 4th on 23 points, same as Medeama SC. They are now four points behind neighbors, Asante Kotoko who drew goalless to former champions, Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park on Saturday.
