Hearts of Oak staunch supporters rate team performance against Accra Lions

Hearts of Oak was fantastic on the day despite the Criminal and demonic output of the referee.

Regardless, Matic's side were splendid on the day despite the referee reducing his side to a ten man disadvantage.

This is how we rate our gallant men on the day.

Head Coach Slavko Matic: The gaffer showed his technical brilliance on the day.

Under the Situation hearts of Oak found itself against an exasperating Side of Accra lions Calibre, Most coaches would have fumbled on the day but not Slavko Matic. Despite receiving an undeserving caution from the ill minded Emmanuel Otoo who came into the game with his own agenda and mission, Matic upped his game and tactical prowess that saw the phobians immerged victorious.

After going a man down, Matic brought on Otanga and switched tactics to the back three system which saw the phobians take absolute control of the engine room of the game making the numerical disadvantage not even visible.

His side enjoyed a lot of the ball and managed three goals at full time. Matic has now accumulated 10 points out of the available 12. I will rate the gaffer 9/10.

Richmond Ayi: Richmond Ayi has grown in his game so much.. He hardly make mistakes.. His point blank saves and how he controlled and communicated with his back line ensured a victory yesterday. He has matured very well on his deliveries, one of them resulted in the final goal for the phobians. That was fantastic. I will rate him 8/10

Fatawu Mohammed: The substantive captain was handed his first start under head coach Slavko Matic. He was decent in the game. In Surging forward Fatawu provided the options in attack for Matic's team. His deliveries in the box were superb. In defense, he was involved in numerous timely tackles and clearances that ensured our victory. I will rate him 7/10.

Dennis Korsah: As Solid as usual, the black stars defender was fantastic at the left back.

He defended gallantly and in progression, Korsah was fantastic on the day. I will rate Korsah 6.5/10.

Mohammed Alhassan: The deputy captain just like Fatawu also made his first appearance under the new Coach. Mohammed as he never disappoint was in his grade A game yesterday.

His rich experience in the defense came to bare when the team was reduced to a man disadvantage. His calmness and composure at the back was solid. I will rate him 8/10.

Konadu Yiadom: Yiadom was always the master in the air at the back line. He won all dangerous aerial duels that befell the phobians.

Yiadom stood tall in all his 1v1 dangerous situations. Despite receiving an undeserving caution in the game, Yiadom lasted the entire duration of the game with decency. He will be rated 7.5/10 by Phobia Fans Zone HQ

Eric Eso: In central attacking midfield role, Eric gave us a monstrous performance especially at the period his partner was shown the exit. Eso was able to box the midfield that gave Salifu Ibrahim a huge relief to do his usual orchestration job. I will rate him 7/10

Yaw Amankwa Baafi : The young Chap who replaced new sensational Gideon Asante Yeboah was handed his debut start since the arrival of the new gaffer, he gave us a man of the match performance yesterday. He assisted Awako's Sublime finish with a brilliant pass. His ball progression and ability to dribble and take on opponent players was amazing. He was a hand full in the middle for Accra Lions. The young chap was a delight to watch. I will rate the little maestro 8/10.

Salifu Ibrahim: After immerging MOTM in the previous game, Salifu Ibrahim continued his impressive performance against Accra lions yesterday in the midfield. Salifu had a goal to his credit. He will be rated 7/10.

Gladson Awako: He was cruelly shown the exit by the incompetent and wicked referee in the early stages of the game. An act he (The referee) saw it as abusive despite the humble and innocent look of the phobians captain on the day. He scored a Modric-like world class goal minutes before he exited. I will rate his game 6/10.

Junior Kaaba: The Cameroonian was also given his first start under Matic.. We saw his brilliant inter positional runs upfront and dropped back to help his defense when necessary. His brilliant start to the game was cut short by an unfortunate tactical switch that was necessitated by the red card. I will rate him 4/10.

Kwadwo Obeng Junior: The forward was good on the day, his pressing ability was fantastic. With his immense strength and agility, Obeng Junior was a torn in the flesh of the Lions defense. I will rate him 6/10.

Glid Jeordan Otanga Nvouo: The Congolese international came on to replace Kaaba in a tactical switch after the red card. He provided the steal and shield in midfield that made life uncomfortable for the hard to dominate Accra Lions resolute midfield that comprises of the though Dominic Nsobila and the likes. He gave the phobians the second penalty after dribbling pass the Lions defense and eventually brought down by the Goalkeeper. I will rate him 8/10.

Suraj Seidu: The U23 star man made a cameo appearance and assisted the third goal that sealed victory for the phobians. I will rate him 5/10.

Benjamin Yorke: The forward have struggled to make some game time under the new gaffer.

His late strike sealed victory for the phobians when the game was nervous in the dying embers. I will rate him 5/10

Samuel Inkoom: The experienced right back was brought on in a like to like sub to help solidify the lead. He did it to perfection when he came on. I will rate him 4/10.
