Christian Atsu, a forward from Ghana who recently joined Hatayspor is set to shine in Turkey

After joining with Super Lig team Hatayspor, Ghanaian international Christian Atsu will play football in Turkey during the 2022–2023 season.

After completing the required medical inspection on Tuesday evening in Turkey, the former winger for Chelsea and Newcastle United signed a one-year contract with the organization.

Christian Atsu, an experienced right and left winger who has previously played for clubs like Everton, Newcastle United, Chelsea, Porto, and Malaga, signed a 1+1 year contract with us.

Our Honorary President, Hatay Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Assoc. Dr. Lütfü Savaş, joined us at the signing ceremony.

“An official club statement from Hatayspor has said, "We welcome Christian Atsu and wish him eternal success with our burgundy and white shirt."

Christian Atsu has expressed his gratitude to the Turkish club in response to his most recent move and added that he is eager for the challenge that lies ahead.

"I appreciate your warmth in making me feel at home. Thank you to Mr. Mehmet Guzel, President Doç. Dr. Lütfü Savaş, and everyone at Hatayspor. Christian Atsu posted on his Twitter page that he was "excited for this new chance."

The Ghanaian forward joined Saudi club Al-Raed last season, but injury problems prevented him from having the season he had hoped for.

He relocated to Hatayspor Kulübü in the aim of regaining his best form so he could assist the team.
