Another Black Stars Player Ruled Out Of World Cup

Head coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo has been dealt a huge blow ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup to be staged in Qatar.

The Black Stars head coach, Otto Addo is likely to miss his number one goalkeeper, Joseph Wollacott as he has been confirmed injured ahead of the World Cup.

Wollacott per report has fractured his finger and will not be part of the final 26-man squad for the World Cup which starts in the next few days in Qatar.

Another goalkeeper who has been confirmed injured is Orlando Pirates shot stopper, Richard Ofori who was once Ghana’s number one.

The Black Stars are paired in group H alongside old foes, Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea for the global showpiece in Qatar.

The Black Stars are making their fourth appearance at the global football showpiece after maiden editions in Germany 2006.

The Black Stars subsequently appeared in their second edition of the World Cup in South Africa 2010 where they finished in the quarter finals.

Their last World Cup was in 2014 where they exited at the group stage of the competition and it was a bad spectacle to behold.
