The Head Coach of AccraHearts of Oak Football Club has tendered in his resignation letter today. Coach Kosta Papic is now waiting for his results for his COVID-19 test.
When the test comes in he will then leave the country for South Africa. This will be a big blow to the team.
There were initially rumors that the coach has made his intentions clear that he was going to resign from his position. The management of the team refuted that rumor.
But it has been reported this evening by a renowned sports journalist Saddick Adams popular known as sports Obama that the coach has finally tendered in his resignation.
The reason for his resignation has not been made known yet. The coach said on a Kumasi based radio station, Nhyira FM that he wished he could sign either Messi or Ronaldo to play for the team. This assertion topped most of the sports news in the week.
