Ghana international defender John Boye was marched off the pitch by the referee being booked twice in Sivasspor’s 2-0 home loss against Trabzonspor on Saturday afternoon.
The 27-year-old had gone into the referee’s books in the 47th minute for a bad challenge but his afternoon came to an end when they fouled a player in the 56th minute and was marched off the pitch by the center referee.
Sivasspor were counting on Boye’s impressive form which has seen him score trice in 5 games but his sending off hampered their victory hopes.
He will miss their next league game against Bursaspor next weekend but will return to face Gaziantepspor. He spent four season in Turkey including three with sivasspor where he was a first culb in the country was kayseri Erciyasspor who got relegated after the first season.
