The blues search for marquee players is still on going and latest reports from England say a new prodigy has emerged on their wishlist and may sign him before the window closes. Chelsea have shown interest in budding England and Borussia Dortmund midfielder, Jude Bellingham who has been a sensation since making a move to the German Bundesliga.
Bellingham is just 18 years old and already looks matured and a core figure in Borussia Dortmund's squad. He burst into the limelight after his debut season in the 2019/20 season, where he went ahead to take the English championship by storm catching the attention of several top clubs including Manchester United. However it was Borussia Dortmund who won the chase for Bellingham at the end.
Since joining the German club, he has made 46 appearances and has registered 4 goals and 4 assists and already attracting attention once again, but this time around from 2020/21 champions league winners, Chelsea. The blues have been searching from a midfielder for sometime now and were earlier linked with Westham star, Declan Rice but the move didn't materialize. Chelsea believe Jude Bellingham can be a longterm option in their midfield if signed and some sources in England say, Chelsea are contemplating on making a late move for the highly rated midfielder before transfer deadline. Borussia Dortmund value Bellingham €55m but expected to reject any advances for blues this summer.
