Chelsea begins their EPL season on Monday night at the Amex when they visit Brighton and Hove Albion.
Chelsea so far is the highest spending team in the transfer window.
The acquisition of Kai Harvertz, Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner, Thiago Silva, Malang Sarr, Ben Chilwell and soon to join Edouard Mendy costs the team about €250 million.
Chelsea needed to make this purchases as several members of the team left a season before and this season.
The likes of Willain, David Luis, Eden Hazard and Pedro have all left and its very fair they replace them.
Frank Lampard is tasked with building a team that will challenge for the EPL title on the coming years and he is doing just that.
All the players acquired are young talented players that will improve the team. Chelsea needs to win at the Amex to avoid any early pressure from the English press and other stakeholders of the team.
Brighton is a winnable fixture, no disrespect to them. The drew in their friendly in a few weeks ago though. The Blues fans across the works will be looking forward to the team Frank Lampard is cooking.
Ben Chilwell, Thiago Silva will not feature but Chelsea have more than enough to win the game.
Is Chelsea against Brighton a must win for Chelsea?
