Inter Allies Win is For Every Phobian - Manaf Umar

The trademark of every winning team is cohesion and teamwork.

Hearts of Oak seem to have got their groove back having won three out four matches under new coach, Samuel Boadu in the 2020/21 Ghana premier league.

The 20-time Ghana title holders under the tutelage of coach Samuel Boadu started off with an emphatic 4-0 win over troublesome West Africa Football Academy before dispatching another tough customer, Aduana Stars 2-0.

A 1-0 defeat at Len Clay Stadium to AshantiGold jolted Samuel Boadu’s smooth run.

The 2000 CAF Champions League winners however came out of their shells to nick a 1-0 win over Inter Allies at the Accra Sports Stadium courtesy Paul Abagna’s own goal.

Diminutive midfielder, Manaf Umar attributes the slim win over Inter Allies to “teamwork.”

He tweeted:

Hearts of Oak have done some decent job in the 2020/21 Ghana League having garnered 33 points from 20 matches.

They lie 3rd on the league table behind bitter rivals Kotoko who are on 35 points in first and regional rivals, Great Olympics on 34 points in second.

The Phobians have a date against Karela United in match-day 21 at the CAM Park.
