Check out the results of the DOL matches played on Saturday

There were some interesting results in the Matchday 14 action in the ongoing national Division One League, (DOL) played on Saturday.

The race to qualify for the Ghana Premier League, (GPL) next season, becomes intense by the week in all three zones.

In Zone One on Saturday, title chasers Berekum Arsenal earned a valuable away win when they thumped home side Nsoatreman United FC 3-0 at the Coronation Park, Sunyani to brighten their chances of earning the sole ticket from the zone.

Former top-flight campaigners, Real Tamale United, (RTU) took another step towards qualification after beating Yendi Gbewaa FC, (Dagbon United) 3-0 at the Aliu Mahama Stadium, Tamale.

The rest of the matches in this zone will be played today, (Sunday).

In Zone Two, Wassaman United were held to a goalless draw at home by Nzema Kotoko in a tough game played at the Nana Gyamfi Park, Bekwai.

Star Madrid FC lost for the second game running after going down 0-2 at home to New Edubiase United. Isaac Mintah scored both goals for the visitors.

Asokwa Deportivo made good use of their home advantage by beating Achiken FC 2-1 at the Len Clay Stadium, Obuasi.

Zone Two matches continues on Sunday with some interesting fixtures.

In Zone Three, Nania FC lost 0-1 at home to Amidaus Professsionals at Legon. Abraham Nissi got the lone goal for the visitors.

At the MATS Park, Teshie, Tudu Mighty Jets beat Phar Rangers 4-1 at home.

The action in this zone will continue today and tomorrow.
