The Ghana Football Association has announced that the Ghana Premier League matchday seven fixture between defending champions Accra Hearts Of Oak and arch-rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko has been postponed.
The postponement is due to the itinerary of Hearts of Oak in respect of the 2nd leg of the CAF Confederation Cup play-off tie vs JS Soaura which makes them unable to return in good time to honor the fixture.
The game was originally scheduled to be played on December 12 but the Ghana Football Association says a new date would be communicated in due course.
Hearts Of Oak who are struggling in domestic competitions beat JS Soaura from Algeria by two goals to nil last Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium with the second leg expected in Algeria this weekend, Sunday to be specific.
The Phonians will be hoping to restore the glory and progress to the next stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
