Former Black Stars coach Mariano Bareto, was not able sit on the bench for Asante Kotoko in their week 18 game against Eleven Wonders in Techiman, due to paperwork.
He was spotted standing outside the inner perimeter with his assistant to direct affairs.
This paved way for assistant coaches Johnson Smith and Gazali to take charge of the technical department.
Upon his arrival, management of Asante Kotoko commenced the process to get his paperwork sorted. It was not completed before Asante Kotoko took on Eleven Wonders.
As Asante Kotoko prepare to take on Bechem United at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium tomorrow, coach Mariano Bareto is expected to take full control of the bench if his paperwork is completed and finalized.
His presence on the bench may serves as an extra motivational factor for the players.
