Yaw Annor was one of the revelations in the just ended Ghana premier league. He plies his trade for Ashanti Gold football club in Obuasi. After his sterling performance in the league by scoring twenty two goals in thirty matches, he received a lot of offers from different teams.
In Ghana alone, both Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko showed interest in him for finishing the league with the most goals. He flew to Egypt with his team owner after Ismaily, a football club from Egypt showed interest in him. At the end of it all, a deal worth two hundred thousand dollars was agreed upon in a span of two years.
