Teams in the Ghana premier league are showing they are also of age in this digital world of ours. The too European teams uses their social media platforms to send and update fans on any significant changes and information as to what is happening at the club.
Our local clubs has followed their footsteps and we take a look at the top five Ghana premier league clubs with the most followers in Twitter.
Kumase Asante Kotoko leads with about 398k followers on Twitter. Second is Accra Hearts of Oak with 332k followers. The third club is Medeama Sporting club with about 58k followers. Liberty Proffessionals is the fourth club with 40.4k followers and Berekum Chelsea completes the top five with 40.1k followers.
Ashanti Gold has 38k, Accra Great Olympics also have about 38k followers and Legon cities is the club with the least number of followers a mere 660 followers.
