Ebenezer Assifuah who won bronze in the 2013 World Cup with the Black Satellites lamented in an interview with Original FM. These were his words, "I feel so sad whenever I see the likes of Pogba, Umtiti, and others because we all played on the same stage in the FIFA Under 20 World Cup in Turkey.

The difference between them and us is that the country saw what they can do with football and groomed them. Now they are all World Cup winners and still playing. But for us, the moment we couldn't win the tournament, that was it.
