The 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League (GPL) season has seen quite a number of goals being scored by the 18 teams in the league; the highest being 44 goals which is scored by Hearts of Oak and Dreams FC. There is still two games left to be played. Goalscoring is very important in the game of football since it could be a deciding factor to crown the Champions of the league whenever there is a tie at the first position. It could also be used as a ground for relegation too whenever there is a tie between teams at the bottom of the league.
The 2020/2021 GPL season has produced a lot of goals which has also being scored by different players from different clubs. Diawusie Taylor of Karela United leads the chart with 17 goals. This represents about 41% of the total goals scored by Karela United (41).
Kwame Peprah of King Faisal and Joseph Esso of Dreams FC (currently plays for MC Algiers in the Algerian league) follows suit with 12 and 11 goals respectively.
