The Ghana Premier Football Association has released the fixtures for the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League Season which will start in October.
Defending Champions Accra Hearts of Oak will welcome city rivals Legon Cities to the Accra Sports Stadium to start the defence of the premier league.
Meanwhile Fabulous Kumasi Asante Kotoko will be the guest to wonder boys Dreams on Match Day 1 of the season.
All the three new entrants will kick start the season at home respectively with some tricking matches.
Match Day 1 Fixtures
The revival of old rivalry will be at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale as new boys Real Tamale United welcomes Accra Great Olympics. This is seen as traditional match as the two sides used to rival each other in the late 90's and 80's.
Real Tamale United are prepared for the season after 8 years of absence and are looking forward to contend for the league title and not just to compete.
Bibiani Gold Stars will also welcome Brekum Chelsea to the Bibiani Sports Complex as Academy Boys Accra Lions FC entertain the shark boys Elmina Sharks FC.

Accra Hearts of Oak will play Asante Kotoko on Match Day 7 in the first round and the return match will be in Match Day 24.
The Ghana Premier League will start on Friday, October 29, 2021 with the first round ending on Sunday, February 13, 2022. The second round of the League will start on February 25 2022 with the Premier League ending on Sunday, June 19, 2022.
However the dates, time and TV schedule will be communicated later.
