Inter Allies, the second club implicated in a match fixing probe of a July 2021 Ghana PL game, demoted to third tier.

The Ghana Football Association Disciplinary Committee released a long-awaited verdict on match-fixing allegations involving Inter Allies on Monday morning 16th of May 2022.
Richmond Lamptey of Asante Kotoko banned from all football related activities for 30 months for involvement in match manipulation when at Inter Allies during 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season.He together with several Inter Allies players were sanctioned by the Ghana Football Association(GFA) disciplinary committee.
On betting and match fixing in the Ghana Premier League, expect another explosive batch of sanctions from the Ghana FA in the next couple of weeks.Some Ghana Premier League players and administrators caught pants down working with renowned betting syndicates.
Inter Allies will still be participating in the Division One League until the end of the season.
