Former Black Stars coach, CK Akonnor has denied any links to the vacancy at Accra Hearts Of Oak.
The Accra based club were painfully eliminated from the CAF Confederations Cup after suffering a first leg defeat at the home grounds of AS Real Bamako.
The Phobians have been without a head coach for a weeks now but have already appointed David Ocloo as an assistant coach to lead the team for the time being.
CK Akonnor was one of the names that has been linked with the head coach role at the club. However, the ex Black Stars coach has disclosed that there is no truth in the links. The coach also disclosed that the club has not initiated any talks with him about the job. He said "It is not true that I am being considered for the Hearts of Oak job because no one has spoken to me on that".
CK Akonnor has been without a job since he was sacked as the Head Coach of the Black Stars.
