“It’s Too Late For Hearts of Oak to Appoint a New Coach” - Ghana Legend

Accra Hearts of Oak legend, Laryea KingSton has said that it is too late for the club to appoint a new coach going into the CAF Confederation Cup.

The Phobians will face Mali club, AS Real Bamako in the first leg of the second round of CAF’s second tier competition before hosting them in a week time.

The Phobians go into the game without a substantive coach following the exit of Samuel Boadu.

Hearts of Oak have appointed David Ocloo as an assistant ahead of the most important competition and Laryea Kingston spoke to Radio Gold Talk Sport.

“For me I think it’s too late, I don’t think it’s good to choose a coach now, I think it’s going to affect them big time.

“But sometimes football is strange, a new coach can come in and he will start getting results but definitely I don’t think the players will be comfortable with what he is bringing on board.
