Asante Kotoko new head coach Seydou Zerbo has named his first starting XI as his side takes on Al Hilal Omdurman in a pre-season friendly this evening.
The game is being played at the Al Hilal Stadium in Omdurman, Sudan as Kotoko takes their pre-season program to North Africa.
Coach Zerbo has handed the goalkeeping role to new Cameroonian signing Moise Pouaty who has been chosen ahead of another new acquisition Frederick Asare.
In defence for this encounter are two new signings, Nicholas Osei Bonsu and Sheriff Mohammed.
Richard Boadu captains the side for the first time after being named new captain of the club and, is included in midfield by two new signings, Enoch Morrison and Ivorian import Eric Serge Zeze
Ugandan international Steven Dese Mukwala leads the attack that also includes Isaac Oppong and another new acquisition Nicholas Mensah.
Al Hilal Omdurman has included Imoro Ibrahim in their setup after they bought the Ghanaian left-back from Asante Kotoko early this month.
Imoro Ibrahim will be facing his former club in this pre-season game which is being used by both sides to prepare for their respective competitions.
Asante Kotoko will play four matches on their tour of Sudan before they return to Ghana at the end of the month for the start of the new season.
