Sulley Muntari, the ex-Ghana, Portsmouth, and Inter Milan midfielder hit with sad news.

The ex-Ghana, Portsmouth, and Inter Milan midfielder, Sulley Muntari, who during a four year stay with Inter between 2008 and 2012 has helped in winning the Champions League, Fifa Club World Cup, two Italian Serie A titles, two Coppa Italia trophies and two Italian Super Cup golds and also represented Ghana at the 2006, 2010 and 2014 Fifa World Cup tournaments, has reportedly loss his mother.

She was also the mother of Muniru Sulley, a former Asante Kotoko midfielder who now plays for Minks in Belarus.

According to reports gathered, the mother, Hajia Kande, gave up the ghost on Sunday evening 30th May 2021, at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital after battling sickness for 'sometime'.

Hajia, as she was fondly known, will be buried in Konongo on Monday, May 31, 2021.

Many people shared their condolences to the family of Hajia Kande and wished her a peaceful rest.
