Ghana legend, Abedi Pele has waded into the Black Stars elimination from the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The Black Stars could have progressed to the round sixteen but for Andre Ayew’s penalty miss against old foes, Uruguay in the third and the final group H game.
Ghana opened their World Cup campaign with a loss against Portugal by 3-2 at the 974 Stadium before they came back stronger to beat Asian side, South Korea by 3-2.

Their third and final group game against Uruguay was not the best and what many would expect as they lost by 2-0 to exit the tournament with just three points.
Andre Ayew wasted his spot kick on the 21st minute and that gave Uruguay the urge to fight back and beat the Black Stars.
Abedi Pele after the Black Stars elimination used via Twitter account to encourage his son.
“It’s not over because when you’re down you know how to go higher to overcome your problems! Proud of you son💥. The Name is Ayew💗. Alhamduliliah”
