Nigeria name 35 players for camping ahead of CHAN qualifier with Ghana

Nigeria head coach Salisu Yusuf has named 35 players for camping ahead of the 2023 CHAN qualifier with Nigeria with the tournament set to come off in Algeria next year.

The players will battle for shirts in the Super Eagles B squad that will face Ghana on a home and away basis to determine which nation qualifies to the event in the North African country.

All invited players are expected to report at the Bolton White Apartments in Abuja on Wednesday to prepare for the two matches.

Ghana will host the Nigerians in the first leg on Sunday, August 28 with the return encounter scheduled to come off at the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja on Saturday, September 3, 2022. 

The winner on aggregate over this two-legged affair, will earn a berth at the 7th African Nations Championship finals to be staged in Algeria early next year.
