The deputy captain of the black stars Thomas Partey is making steady progress in training after suffering a thigh injury that was likely to end his season prematurely. But he has made a quicker than expected recovery. It is rumoured that he might play again before the season ends. Partey's time in an Arsenal shirt has been derailed by injuries which are making it difficult for him to realise his potential. He is an amazing player by all standards and his talent has never been in doubt. That is why Arsenal paid over 50 million euros for him.
Mike Arteta will not be in a rush to bring him back quickly. I am sure he will be given time to recover fully. “He has been out injured and sometimes he pushes too far to play and he gets injured again. He is willing to help again to play this season. We don’t know if that is going to be possible, but for sure it won’t be because of lack of intention from him,” Mikel Arteta has said. Ghanaians will be hoping that he will recover early and be in good shape for the world cup slated for Qatar later this year.
