Sad News: Former Black Star Captain Passes On

Isaac Acquaye, a previous Accra Great Olympics player in Ghana's Premier League, passed on Thursday evening in Accra following a concise ailment, as indicated by domesticsportsgh. According to the report, the former Black Star captain passes on after complaining of a knee and waist after a training session of which he was carried to a hospital but could not survive. Acquaye, a previous skipper of the Black Stars, played for two Accra-based groups, Standfast FC and Great Olympics, as well as Dumas (GTP), an Akosombo-based club, all through his playing profession.

Already, he was the chief of Sekondi Hasacaas, Bechem United, and Accra Great Olympics. From 2002 through 2008, Acquaye, nicknamed "Obstruction," trained groups like Union Sportive Ouagadougou (USO) in Burkina Faso. Internment plans would be unveiled later, as indicated by a family representative. This is sad news hitting the whole country during this super clash between the Black Stars of Ghana and the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
