Kotoko Defeat Division 2 Club In Friendly Match

Kumasi Asante Kotoko have recorded a win in a friendly game against division 2 club, PAC Academy..

The Kumasi based club were scheduled to play city rivals King Faisal in the Ghana Premier league but with the game called off due to a court injunction being placed on the league, the 2021/2022 Champions played a friendly game with PAC Academy.

The game which ended 2-0 in favour of Kumasi Asante Kotoko saw most of their players get the needed game time they need for the season.

In the game, Kotoko suffered to open the scoring in the first half of the game but goals from Dwamena and Dickson Afoakwa were enough to see the host win the friendly game at their Adako Jachie Training Complex.

Meanwhile the Ghana Football Association has assured the clubs and supporters as well as stakeholders that it will do everything in its power to ensure that the league returns as soon as possible.
