Breaking News : Gabon teaches Ghana Black Stars a bitter lesson but there is hope for Ghana.

The Black Stars led by Captain Andre Ayew Dede was in a comfortable position during the game with the Gabon Senior National team.

All Ghanaians were highly excited when Ayew Dede spiced the game with a one goal lead during the 19th minute. The Black Stars were low spirited until Ayew Dede registered a goal on the goal sheet. The Black Star 's led the ball possession by 53% whilst Gabon lagged by 47%.

Many expected the Black Stars to even score more goals after the early goal.


In the 88th minute, the Black Stars lost focus and Gabon seriously punished the Black Stars with a goal.

The Gabon team could not hide their joy after drawing with the Black Stars.

This scoreline gives the Gabon a second place with 4 points in the group whilst Morocco leads with 6points and Black Stars take the third place with 1 point with Comoros lag behind with zero point.

Tensions rose when the Black Stars drew and a scuffle occurred after the 90th minute of the match. The referee had no choice than to release a late red card to the originator of the chaos.

Ayew Dede, a great player by all standards, won the man of the match. It was so well deserved and we can only applaud him for his great impact on the Ghanaian team.

Ghana Black Stars should not lose hope. There is still hope for the future if Gabon gets a zero point in their next match and Comoros wins.

Ghana Black Stars can still make some history if they place second in the group stage.
