SOU 2-2 BUR: Broja and Livramento's display shows why Chelsea should be patient with their youngster

Today's EPL match between Southampton and Burnley ended in a 2-2 draw. Southampton's triumph was sparked by two goals scored by two Chelsea academy teenagers, Armando Broja and Valentino Livramento.

Armando Broja capitalized on Burnley's error by sending the ball in a direction where the goalkeeper couldn't save it.

Chelsea should learn to be patient with their young players after selling Tino Livramento for €5 million despite the fact that Reece James is the only remaining young right-back.

Armando Broja was loaned out as soon as Romelu Lukaku was signed; he would have spearheaded Chelsea's frontline in the absence of Lukaku and Timo Werner, but the Blues were impatient.

Chelsea's frontline was led by Kai Havertz today, and while Thomas Tuchel's team triumphed, the influence of a striker was not evident.

Chelsea will benefit even more if they begin to be patient with their young players.
