Check out the key statistics of the two goalkeepers as Asante Kotoko hosts Hearts of Oak on Sunday

Some key battles will be fought on the field of play in tomorrow's meeting between Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak in Kumasi.

Asante Kotoko will host this Ghana Premier League, GPL Matchday 24 encounter at the Baba Yara Stadium where they have lost only once at this season.

One key are that could be crucial towards each other's chances of winning or otherwise, will be the men in between the sticks in this fixture.

Both Danlad Ibrahim and Richard Attah have been the established goalies in post for Kotoko and Hearts respectively in recent times, and, they could be called upon to save their side on Sunday.

A look at the statistics of these two Ghana internationals, makes interesting reading with Danlad Ibrahim shading it slightly.

The Asante Kotoko number one has played 12 matches in the ongoing 2021-22 GPL campaign, and, has kept nine clean sheets and has conceded four goals in the process.

On the part of Richard Attah for Hearts of Oak, he has played 10 matches in the competition so far and has kept six clean sheets and conceded five goals.

If selected to play on Sunday, both goalkeepers will look to build on these statistics to get the desired result for their respective clubs.

Playing at home, the Porcupines will hope to make the most of the conditions in the Garden City to carry the day.

They hold a 13 points lead over Hearts of Oak as they top the standing and, they are the bookmakers favourites to win the diadem at the end of the campaign.

Hearts of Oak are fourth on the table as they seek to retain their title, and, they will be inspired to lift their game as they confront the league leaders.

Observers will watch out for the performances of both goalkeepers in this crucial duel whether they can shade the tide in their favour.
