The Ampem Darkoa Ladies, who will be representing Ghana in the CAF Women's Champions League in WAFU Zone B, are currently in the midst of match preparations. Because of this, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia of Ghana has provided the team with a financial aid package totaling 50,000 cedis to help them in their preparations.
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's contribution to the team's budget was delivered to them in the form of cash at the camping base they were using. A number of crucial qualification matches were being played in neighboring Cote d'Ivoire, and he urged the players to do their best and represent Ghana with honor.
After receiving the donation, the Ampem Darkoa Ladies' Skipper, Justice Tweneboah, was overjoyed and grateful to Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for his kindness.

I'd like to use this opportunity to thank the Vice President very much for the gift he's given us. Our deepest appreciation goes out to him, and we ask that the Lord reward him abundantly for his efforts on our behalf. To the best of our abilities, we shall travel to Côte d'Ivoire and carry out his directives. During the course of the monetary donation, Justice Tweneboah made the following remark.
As double gold medalists, Ghana is expected to put on a show at the games. Ampem Darkoa Ladies will begin their journey through WAFU Zone B on August 20th, 2022. The exciting journey has started.
