This planet has witnessed several dozens of exceptional footballers and quite a significant number of these players have been Brazilians. One of the most appreciated of these Brazilian stars is Ronaldinho Gaucho. It's been several years since he left the spotlight after making a huge mark by conquering many great clubs and players, but he's still considered when the best players of all time are being considered. Besides his amazing football skills, some of his qualities that football fans miss the most is the constant smile on his face even during matches and his humility.
Gaucho had a very good relationship with many footballers but that wasn't his limit. As a great sportsman himself, he had a pretty tight relationship with the late basketball legend, Kobe Bryant. Kobe Bryant before his painful demise was known as one of the best basketball players in the world and definitely one of the best of all time. To say the least, Ronaldinho and Kobe were both on a similar level in their respective sports, and they still are.
During teenage Lionel Messi's time at Barcelona, he had a pretty good relationship with Ronaldinho, a relationship similar to that of a father and his son. One time, Ronaldinho wanted to introduce Lionel Messi to Kobe Bryant and this is what ensued;
Ronaldinho: I'm gonna introduce you to the guy who's going to be the best player in the world.
Kobe: But you're the best
Ronaldinho: No, this kid here is going to be the best.
Interestingly, he was talking about the 17 year old Lionel Messi.
