The Black Satellites of Ghana has won the under twenty African Cup of nations after beating Uganda by two goals to nil in the finals.
The two teams met after Ghana beat Gambia by a lone goal whereas Uganda surprisingly beat Tunisia by four goals to one respectively in the semi finals.
Due to the results the Ugandans had against Tunisia, they looked dangerous ahead of the clash. The young stars of Ghana were not to be denied and has lifted the U20 tournament after twelve years since the last time in Rwanda 2009. Coincidentally today marks the 64th birthday of Ghana and they couldn't have given a better gift than this trophy. Daniel Barbie the captain of the side got the the goals which sealed the triumph over Uganda in the finals.
He slotted a corner at the near post in the first half and got his second after he was assist by Precious Boah few minutes after the game began in the second half.
The boys are expected to get a heroes welcome when they get back home.
