The Ghana Football Association has revived some good news over the weekends as some great international sports men are set to join the country’s national football team via a nationality switch. We have heard many rumors all over as some of them have finally completed the switch. Some are also yet to. Now on board we have Tariq Lamptey, Hudson Odoi.
Information reaching the football association is that, Inaki Williams, a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a forward for La Liga club Athletic Bilbao has made his mind ready to defend the shirt of Ghana by switching his nationality to the Ghanaian side. His decision recently has sparked many reactions online as many were happy as some were also not happy for the association accepting him. They claim that, these dual citizens waited for the local boys to struggle for a qualification before they decided to switch hence no one should work for someone to enjoy.
On twitter, Pulse Ghana in a post demanded the opinions of Ghanaians on how to use our old striker, Jordan Ayew, the new Afena Gyan and the latest Inaki Williams. “ Start two and bench one”.
As usual, most Ghanaians went in for the two new geniuses as Jordan Ayew is popularly known in Ghanaian football for wasting opportunities.
Find below some of the opinions and reactions of some concerned citizen which I gathered from the above post by Pulse Ghana:
