Team coordinator Sascha Riether has also been relieved of his duties following the defeat on Saturday, Schalke’s 16th of the season means they sit rock bottom on nine points needing a miracle to avoid relegation to the German Bundes League for the first time since 1990 gross is not the casualty from the embarrassing defeat to Pellegrino Matarazzo’s side last saturday afternoon with sporting director Jochen Schneider also leaving the club.
