Health COVID

Covid-19 cases, is Ghana out of the woods, see our current state.

The covid-19 has been a thorn in the flesh of humanity since 2019. The virus as discovered in Wuhan in China, spread fast across the globe within a short period.

The Republic of Ghana recorded Her first case in March, 2020. As at 28th March 2021, our active cases stands at 2,410 as per Ghana Health Service.

The total recorded cases since March 2020 are 90,287 and the new recorded cases are 121.

Sadly, 740 people have lost their lives as a result of the virus.

Even though there is decline in the active cases within a period of three months, it could be noticed that, Ghana is not totally out of the woods.

The GHS have also confirmed that 491,022 people have taken the Astrazenaca Vacine.

As there is a rise in the intake of the Vacine, Ghanaians hope the active and the new infected cases will decline further.

Globally, the table below shows the total recorded cases, total deaths and the total recovered cases as at 28th March 2021.

Surely this one too shall pass.
