
African football legend Samuel Eto'o has advocated Asamoah Gyan to include for Ghana at the 2022 Fifa World Cup.
Gyan, who last played seriously in May 2021, says he has desires of being in the Black Stars crew at the current year's competition in Qatar.
The 36-year-old's remarks have produced blended responses from Ghanaians and previous colleagues.
Eto'o, who is a 2022 World Cup Ambassador and is visiting Ghana, said, "I trust his fantasy turns into a reality.
"As we are mindful, a ultimate conclusion lies in the possession of the chief," the Cameroon FA President told Joy Sports.
