Glorious Accra HeartsofOak Sporting Club yesterday offloaded some of its players. The club yesterday on their official website and social media platforms wrote
"Accra Hearts of Oak has officially notified Kofi Kordzi and Ansah Botchway that they are surplus to requirement and are in the process of mutual termination from the club.
Meanwhile, the club has also informed Patrick Razak, Larry Sumaila Ibrahim and Manaf Umar that their contracts will not be renewed. We wish to thank them for their services during their stay with the club and wish them all the best in their future endeavours."
This has sparked some sessions of their supporters to question the management and board the reasons behind the offload. Inside sources from the club revealed these players had disciplinary issues and the technical team did not include them in the 2022/2023 plans.
