Former IBF/IBO bantamweight champion Joseph King Kong Agbeko is set to return to the ring on December 26 in a boxing extravaganza in Accra.

The event is being put together by Cabic Promotions in collaboration with Aborigines and Box Office Promotion.

Some of the best pugilists in Ghana will be on display with Agbeko scheduled to fight Albert Commey in a bantamweight contest.

The event will be staged at the Indrowhyt Event Centre at Dansoman with the first bout set to commence at 7:00 pm.

In other bouts of the night, former WBO African Super Welterweight champion, Patrick Allotey will be up against Victus Kermavor. Emmanuel Quaye faces Raymond Ansah in a Super Welterweight contest.

There will also be other supporting bouts on the night as the boxing year which has largely been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic comes to an end.

According to the organizers, all Covid-19 protocols would be observed.

The event is strictly by invitation although a few tickets have been reserved for the VIP and VVIP stand in the arena.
