Hearts of Oak players to stash $1000 as least salary - MD Frederick Moore affirms

Managing Director of Accra Hearts of Oak, Frederick Moore has uncovered that his club has plans of raising player-wages to at least a 1000 USD in the next few years. 

Poor compensation has been one of the primary issues confronting the Ghanaians top flight and has prompted a departure of players from the nation to better-paying leagues. 

However, addressing Joy Sports in a meeting, Mr Moore showed that the Phobians are setting up structures to empower them to become independent which will in the end convert into a decent remuneration. 

"One of the primary things my administrator said to me in addition to other things was that we should intend to raise the minimum salary in the next few years to a 1000 USD and we are running after that," the Hearts of Oak CEO said. 

"That is the place where we need to go. 

"We have Covid which has slowed us down however, that ought not to hinder us. 

"We have spent a lot of cash and every last bit of it has come from our chairman who has been our bankroller throughout the previous 10 years," Mr. Moore finished up. 

The National Chapters Committee(NCC), supporters wing of the Accra based club have as of late dispatched the Monthly Dues Payment scheme for the club.
