It’s not about the number of time he falls, but is the number of time he rises up- Abukari Damba

The Ghana Football Association has gone through a lot of hard times for and bashing from the supporters. It has been a time to sit down as a country and start planning about the way forward as a team with a good future.

The Black Stars goalkeepers trainer in the shape of Najau Issah has been influential on the keepers around. Razak Abelora, is a player from Kotoko the same thing applies to the trainer of the side. No wonder the squad has been dominated by Kotoko players.

Recently, the performance of the Blackstars goalkeeper Razak Abelora has been shambolic and degrading to the point of disgracing the nation. As a renowned goalkeeper for the national team, there shouldn’t be such primary mistakes on their side.

The idea of the supporters to bring the love back is not with the Blackstars, but the Ghana Premier League teams. The league which is not well organized has been able to produce a goalkeeper who is not that better on the football terrain locally.

The goalkeeping department need to be given more time. From Abukari Damba “the performance must be checked but not to criticize the actions of the keeper. Abelora is very good and have done well to position himself as number one ahead of the others. We shouldn’t focus on his flaws but what will make him stronger as the team proceed in their subsequent matches”.
