Dr Kweku Frimpong affectionally known as champion, the owner and bank roller of Ashanti Gold sporting club and son Emmanuel kweku Frimpong are in fresh trouble after the Ghana football association led by Mr Kurt Okraku charged the two, the father and son of their involvement in the match fixing match between their club Ashanti Gold and International Allies after investigation by the football governing body.
The said match ended 7:1 in favor of obuasi Ashanti Gold against their counterparts Inter Allies.
Although investigations are not yet done as investigation is still ongoing but the clubs owner and CEO have been charged after breaching article 27(1) and 27(2) of the federations code of ethics, article 18(1) of the federations disciplinary code and article 34(5)(a) and 34(5)(b) of the Ghanaian football association premier league regulations.
The two club officials,Dr Kweku Frimpong and Son Emmanuel kweku Frimpong are expected to provide a statement of defence before the end of 22nd September before the federation disciplinary committee will arbitrate their case.
