Unlike their respective clubs, big names in the Super Eagles squad failed to impress against the Black Stars. Clearing the theory of most people or individuals have places or areas they thrive and Friday night was evident of Victor Osimhen, Kelechi Iheanacho, Samuel Chukwueze, and Moses Simon's fates at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
In-form Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen who currently holds 11-goals in the Italian outfit and three times team of the week player was completely lost, wandering around the pitch against the Black Stars. As the lead striker, he barely touches the ball or dribble or shoots unlike Napoli, where he always find the target and is made known of his presence in every featured game. Likewise for Kelechi Iheanacho, Samuel Chukwueze, and Moses Simon it was a nightmare as the trio experienced difficulty holding the ball or penetrating through the Stars defense. These trios happen to be on their best form in their respective clubs, especially Moses Simon being Nantes revelation and Kelechi Iheanacho Leicester's game-changer.

It was quite a frustrating night for both Nations but the Super Eagles tend to be the very depressed Nation given their squad value and player franchise overseas.
Prior to the match, the Super Eagles were tipped to be the emerging favorite given their squad estimated value of 139.37M Euros and that of the Black Stars 82.645M Euros according to sofa score statistics. However, at the end of the whistle, the Black Stars were able to hold the Super Eagles to a goalless stalemate indicating that, squad values, big names don't make up a team and club form hardly reflect at the National levels but the insight of coaches and team management is the sole influencer going forward.
Club form is different from that of Nationals that's was discovered.
